Ffos Las has become a welcome addition to the Welsh racing scene as Wales now offers three racecourses. Chepstow is the primary Welsh track attracting large crowds throughout the season and is a dual purpose track offering quality national hunt action in the Autmn and Winter with flat racing taking centre stage in the Spring and Summer. The Welsh National is the highlight of the season from Chepstow as some of the top chasers in the country battle it out over the Christmas period.
Like Chepstow, Ffos Las offers racegoers flat and national hunt action throughout the season, but Bangor on Dee is a sole national hunt track overlooked by the Welsh hills.
