John Gosden's Izzi Top was an emphatic winner of the Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket at the beginning of the month and she can continue on the upgrade this afternoon at York's Dante festival and secure victory in the Middleton Stakes at 14:30.
She travelled well into that Group Three contest and then showed a terrific turn of foot to put the race to bed and she shaped as if the extra distance this afternoon shouldn't be a problem and she could well bag another black-type success.
Some classy fillies will line up, but she should frank the form with Timepiece, whilst Michael Bell's Set To Music and Saeed Bin Suroor's Sajjhaa should benefit for the run and may struggle to live with Gosden's classy four-year-old.
