Wolverhampton Racecourse

Wolverhampton Racecourse is an all weather track that uses a polytrack surface. The course is used for flat racing and it is a left handed oval that is just over 7 furlongs in circumference

Due to the all weather track Wolverhampton is one of the busiest courses in the United Kingdom it holds around 100 racing fixtures per year. The races to look out for are the Lady Wulfruna Stakes which is a listed race that takes place in March, the same day as another key race the Lincoln Trial Handicap.

In races of 5 furlong there is no real draw bias but if the field has more than 10 runners a lower number is definitely favoured.

The top trainer that frequent this course are Mark Johnston and David Evans with the top jockeys being Neil Callan and Jamie Spencer.
