John McCririck

If anyone was asked to name a horse racing broadcaster John McCririck is most likely the name that will crop up.

His loud, boisterous persona twinned with his opinionated views certainly make him stand out in the crowd, but his professionalism from around the betting ring is top notch as he gives the viewer the latest news on the betting front.

John Francome

Ex-jump jockey John Francome has certainly made the transition from the saddle to the studio with aplomb.  A sought after author Francome is usually seen in a booth with fellow pundit Jim McGrath to provide analysis on views of the racing ahead.

An integral part of the team, Francome is a regular on the settee on The Morning Line providing laughs as well as well-informed views.

Jim McGrath

His exuberance certainly portrays his love for the game and is often regarded as the most hard-working person in horse racing broadcasting.

Simon Holt

Occasionally a member of The Morning Line team, Holt also shows a vast knowledge of horse racing and can give tips and analysis on the day's action.

Alastair Down

Alastair Down is one of the top horse racing journalists in the country and twins his written work with that of presenting for Channel Four.  A regular during the national hunt season, Down is often seen providing top notch coverage from the Cheltenham Festival.

During the festivals Down normally provides the viewers with some factual, yet comical looks at the previous day's action

Since then he has become a top notch broadcaster for both Channel Four and At The Races and is often seen on The Morning Line as well.

Emma Spencer
